This year as I went to write down my top albums I was astonished to see that not just some but most of my favourite albums were actually by Canadian musicians—woohoo! While Canada has had a strong music scene for years, it seems like it’s really blossomed in the last couple, with the country gathering to celebrate the closing of one iconic band’s career and then through out the year, the beginning of so many others. In celebration of that, I’ll be doing a video and write up of one of my favourite Canadian albums of the year everyday (starting tomorrow) until the new year when we’ll land upon my top album of 2017. Until then, have a great Christmas Eve and Happy Holidays no matter what you celebrate.
